I'm a developer based in Ireland. I currently work as a Staff Machine Learning Scientist for a large E-commerce retailer.

I'm interested in the practical application of Machine Learning. I enjoy programming with Python, Scala, Swift, Elixir, Ruby, Kotlin, JavaScript, Clojure and Java.

I wrote a book about Swift - it's out-of-date now, but you can read for free here.

I have a Phd and Msc in Computer Science. My research projects focused on using Machine Learning for Information Extraction and Sentiment Analysis.
